The Manhasset Symphony Stand is used by more schools than all other music stands combined. The Symphony Stand desk is 20″ w x 12-1/2″ h with a 2-1/4″ ledge. The height of this music stand ranges from 26″ to 48″ (ledge to floor), with a maximum overall height of 60-1/2″.

Inspect the carton for any external damage. Report ANY visible damage to the shipping carrier right away.

Before you Begin, You Will Need:

Caution!

Do not apply any lubricant to the height adjustment shaft! This can cause the friction grip clutch to loosen some of it’s holding power.

  1. Carefully open the box and remove all parts.
  2. Remove the bolt, locking washer, and base cup washer from the base of the shaft assembly.
  3. Insert the shaft assembly in the tripod base and attach with the bolt, locking washer, and base cup washer.
  4. Tighten securely.
  5. Loosen the screw on the wing portion of the deck assembly.
  6. Extend the chrome inner shaft and slide the deck assembly onto the shaft with a rotating motion until fully inserted.
  7. Tighten the clamp onto the chrome shaft and adjust as desired.
